    From the photos the collar tabs and sleeve eagle looks superb! Arm band I cant tell about!

    Looks like a loveley piece!

            As stated before, and in my opinion, the insignia on Winklers tunic is NOT good!

            Tunic might be original but with replaced insignias. It has happened before.

              I agree with Felix. If the tunic is original to Gottberg but all of the insignia is bad, then the value is only a stripped tunic (named but still stripped). At the cost and rarity of restoration insignia this will become a long-term and expensive project to restore. Once it has been done, then you'll have Gottberg's tunic with all restored insignia. That is not a project that I would care to tackle, but that's just me.

                I have been collecting for many years and find it strange that there are so many tunic and hats available in todays market, where were all these 10 or even 20 years ago!

                    The tunic is a fake the original was auctioned here in the US years ago(1980s) and thats not it. I dont know about the overcoat the pictures are not that great.

                      As best I can tell from the pictures provided, I would consider the SS-Obergruppenfuhrer collar tabs on the greatcoat as reproduction.

                          No, I don't.
                          I have prepared an expertise for this ensemble, but the result didn't please 100% and the expertise wasn't payd for.So what is not payd for you can't/ or will not show.

                            If you bought something from Kai Winkler, maybee you should get a second opinion on the items so you can return it before he is totally out of business!!
